CHANDRAPUR: As many as 99 large and medium scale industries with an investment of Rs 3.07 lakh crore are slated to come up in Chandrapur. These new industries will bring employment opportunities to 24,700 people in near future, claimed guardian minister, Sanjay Deotale in Chandrapur on Wednesday.
Addressing the crowd after flag hoisting ceremony held to mark Maharashtra Day at police ground here, Deotale claimed that Chandrapur has 33 large-scale industries that have fetched an investment of Rs 5,119 crore. Over 7,700 people have availed the benefit of employment in these industries, he said. "The administrative machinery in the district has expedited developmental work and the government is committed to work for common people,"
